TEAAM has offered summer camp programs for over 15 years. During the months of June and July, we offer two different summer camp programs. Both camps take place at TEAAM's campground Center Ridge Outpost in Smith County, MS.
Kamp Kaleidoscope is our summer camp program for children between the ages of 7 and 17.
Camp Walapei is our summer camp program for adults ages 18 and up.
Campers have the option of coming to camp for a three day/two night stay, or coming for the week with a six day/five night stay.
TEAAM offers weekend retreat programs during the fall and spring seasons. These retreats are like mini summer camp programs, and take place at Center Ridge Outpost. Our weekend retreats commonly have themes such as a Girl's or Boy's only retreat, reading comprehension retreats, as well as many others themes. TEAAM offers training to professionals, parents, family members, and just about anyone else. If you're interested in learning more about Autism, behavior, social skills, and many other topics, attending a TEAAM training could be just what you are looking for.
TEAAM works in partnership with school districts and state agencies to provide services to Mississippians with disabilities. To find out what services are available, call the TEAAM offices at 601-782-9005, or ask your school district if they have a partnership with TEAAM.
TEAAM offers reading comprehension therapy through our certified reading comprehension therapists. This program works with children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other related learning disabilites. This program is a comprehensive tutoring program that can be offered during the school day or as an after school program.
TEAAM Autism has section chapters across the state of Mississippi. These chapters are the local resource for all things TEAAM Autism. They commonly hold fundraisers and other activities on TEAAM's behlf. Contact your local chapter head to join in today!
